The LightPoint datacenter is served by multiple electrical feeds each separated in an individual hardened steel conduit. Each feed is backed by a separate UPS system with minimum 4 hours of battery backup all of which is backed by a generator. Each cabinet or rack is served by redundant feeds, and each cabinet or rack has its own ATS. What does this mean to you? This means that LightPoint can easily maintain its systems to the highest level, because maintenance can take place anywhere in the system without interrupting power to the customer.
