For today’s enterprise, internet feeds need to be fast, secure, unlimited, uninterruptible and affordable. LightPoint offers many different ways to insure that our customers get the bandwidth they need as and when they need it. We are steadfastly neutral about how you connect to the rest of the world; we just make sure that whatever that connection is works for you. LightPoint has five Tier One carriers on the floor (AT&T, Integra/ELI, Time Warner, Qwest, and XO), plus we own a small, private fiber network that connects us to dozens of other carriers and Metro Ethernet services. So whether you need a simple T1 or an OC192 there is an option available at a competitive price. LightPoint also offers our own fast, burstable, multi-homed feed, connected through our internal network which is fully redundant and fault tolerant at both the core and distribution levels. Each cabinet or rack has a primary and secondary feed, so there’s little chance of downtime. Need to burst for back-up or large data transfers? No problem; LightPoint allows up to 36 hours of bursting per month (using the industry standard 95th percentile computation) without additional charge. Need quick access to longer term increased capacity? Again, no problem; LightPoint can provide circuits from T1 – OC3 on very short notice. Frankly, the OC192 will take a few days.
